Blue Tail Fishing Charter The Ultimate Fishing Charter Experience from Jupiter Florida

Captain Mike Haines has been guiding anglers through the vibrant inshore waters of Jupiter and Stuart, Florida for over 30 years. As the founder and captain of Blue Tail Fishing Charters, Mike combines a lifetime of local fishing knowledge with a strong academic foundation—holding a Biology degree from Florida International University. His scientific approach to fishing sets him apart, offering guests not just a day on the water, but an educational experience that reveals the rhythms of the local ecosystem. From Tarpon and Snook to Redfish, he knows where and when to find the area’s top inshore species. Mike’s connection to Florida’s coastal waters runs deep. His earliest fishing memories were made alongside his father, exploring the same mangroves and backwaters he now guides others through. That early spark grew into a lifelong passion, and it’s evident in every trip he leads. Even when he’s not with guests, Captain Mike is often out on the water, studying seasonal fish behavior and fine-tuning his techniques. This hands-on commitment to staying in sync with the fishery ensures each charter is based on up-to-date knowledge and real-time experience. What truly stands out about Captain Mike is his ability to adapt to any group. Whether he’s guiding a seasoned angler looking for a shot at a trophy Tarpon, or teaching a family how to cast and catch Snapper for the first time, he brings patience, energy, and enthusiasm to every charter. His friendly nature and deep-rooted respect for the marine environment make fishing with him both rewarding and relaxing. Guests often leave with more than just fish—they leave with a deeper understanding of Florida’s inshore waters.
The Boat: 22ft Ranger – Built for Precision and Comfort
Blue Tail Fishing Charters runs a 22-foot Ranger motorboat, powered by a reliable 150HP Yamaha engine, designed specifically for inshore fishing in places like Jupiter and Stuart, FL.
